Our Concerns About the South Bronx, Mr. Malick's class

i think that issues in the south bronx are pollution since there are people that have asthma here and there is often a lot of smoke. we need to help stop pollution. many asthmatics are affected by this daily. <3 Loveee Ashleey Morenoo
An environmental issue is pollution from the trucks that come from THE MARKET in hunts point. those trucks idle for up to 8 hours and this makes the rate for asthmatics higher in the south Bronx than anywhere else. -Shaniya
I hatee iht when people smoke around me ; especially in my building ; like im over here trynna sleep and people smoking. Likei can have some kind of attack. -Alexandraa.
i hate when my bofriend smokes around me because it makes me cough a lot and all his friends do it also sometimes i just want to leave him and thats exsactlyy what idoo.
An environmental issue is people smoking around me because the smell stinks. Also i have asthma and that can cause me to have an asthma attack.So we need to get this under control before people start dying. Smoking isn't good and we need to stop it. By:Kyra
I think that the problem with the food is that it has too much salt in it. I also think that the food has too much sugar. We should also should eat the severing size.
I like the fact that Mayor Bloomberg is doing something about this. Even though smokers still manage to smoke anywhere and it seems like it's allowed everywhere when it's not. In the building i live in, a lot of people smoke around the hallway and talk about stupid things I can't really explain. Every time they smoke, my mom closes the door because my little brother, little sister and my brother have (or had) asthma. I'm probably the only one with a partial life sickness, allergies, and the fact that I am not able to smell strong smells instantly.
My cousin, Jimmy, has never smoked in his life (unlike his older brother and sister) and now he lives in a very healthy life since his older siblings were sent away. For instance, his eyes are light blue (they used to be dark brown) and he has abs/muscles because he used to do 10 pull-ups every time he went through a door in his house.
on every corner in ma block i always see ppl smoking or buying smokes and drugs some kids come an ask me if i want one so now im being peer pressured into smoking an i feel like im gunna die of cancer an dats NOT GOOD
I think that we should have more safe places to hang around and see less people smoking.
